Mythology and Urban legends
A collection of myths is called a mythology, now what is a myth? A myth is a fictional story, many cultures, religions, societies and civilizations have had myths as a vital feature everywhere. Myths are interesting to read for everyone, and many people amongst the 21st century enjoy myths. Mythology has been pretty popular ever since the 15th century, one great example to give would have to be the Greek Mythology. Greek Mythology was the religion back in ancient Greece, Greek Mythology consists of various Greek Gods and Goddesses, Demigods, Nature of the world, Heroes and many Mythological creatures (Fictional Characters in a Myth). Many Great stories where in the Greek Mythology that are also now found in Various Books and Movies such as Wrath Of The Titans, The Greek Mythology and Percy Jackson The Lightning thief is based off of the Greek Mythology, it is believed in the Greek Mythology that for Generations the world was ruled by the Fierce Titans, some of the titans were Imprisoned in Tartarus after they had chosen to fight a war against the Olympians known as the younger gods. Cronos was the ruling Titan to come to power after Castrating his father Uranus, his wife was known as Rhea. They had offsprings but Cronos ate his children to make sure of his safety if some of his children were to overtake him, and that happened after Zeus alongside his brothers Hades And Poseidon won the war from the titans imprisoning in the depths of tartarus. They then ruled the world as gods. Hades was the god of underwold, poseidon the god of the oceans, seas and rivers and Zeus the god of the thunder. There are also many other types of myths, many of which that are followed by religions such as the Jinns followed by the muslims of Islam, In order to be a muslim you have to believe in the Jinns that are the supernatural creatures which cannot be seen. As a muslim i believe in it as well. They are similar to the term followed at the modern day and time "Ghosts". Many more Myths are followed throughout the globe such as the Big Foot and the Yeti. One of the most fascinating parts about the myths to me are the various variety of characters found. From 3 headed dogs (Cerberus) guarding underworld to a Beautiful girl that turns you into stone after you look at her (Medusa) there is a wide range of variety of such amazing mythical characters found in Myths.
Lets talk about some of the most popular ones! A centaur is a half man and a half horse. Unlike humans he is stuck into two world, the world where he has to be a human and the world where he is a savage beast, they are pretty heavy drinkers and Warriors. The Leviathan, A biblical creature who is a large monstrous fish known well for destroying passing ships, it is said that there were two leviathans but the second one died which is pretty fortunate or else we would have had more of these roaming the oceans. Dragons, these are one of the most known creatures throughout the world. These large flying reptiles are known well for breathing fire and destroying buildings. Chinese belief states that dragons were pretty wise and protected them. Hydra, A multi headed Serpent beast that has poisonous blood and can kill a man just by its poisonous breath! Hero Hercules was the one to slay a Hydra, slaying Hydras was impossible because after you cut off one head another two are to cone out! Hercules cauterized a hydra head after beheading so another head won't appear. Those were only a few Mythical Creatures that i wrote up there, there actually are hundreds of thousands of more out there. Urban Legends, Urban Legends are pretty similar to Myths. Urban legends are just like Myths but are way spookier and are also known as campfire stories! Urban Legends have been around since the past century, these are popularly used to scare people lots of times, there are many many spooky Urban Legends out there such as the Slenderman, Herobrine, bloodymary, Jeff the killer and the Russian Experiment! These are one of the stories told around the world. Lets mention a few here without spoiling alot of it.
The Slenderman. The Slenderman is an unnaturally tall and slim man with a blank face, yes a blank face. Slender man is well known for traumatizing and abducting children, many teens that ventured in the woods were abducted by the Slender man. The Russian experiment, The Prisoners Of War that were captured by the Russians during World War 2 were given the chance to be freed if they were to participate in an experiment. The experiment was to stay awake for 30 days straight, now they can lose conscience and sleep anyway but a special gas would be released in the room that would force them up, the test subjects agreed and went in the room. Soon weird things started to happen as the test subjects started to rip out their own organs and screaming their throats sore. Urban Legends are recommend for lonely people because after reading one does not feel alone at all. No seriously you don't.

ReplyDeleteNowadays there is something you can do correct this circumstance. Another paint work works ponders however when you begin glancing around for an auto paint shop you understand that the cost to paint an auto can be restrictively costly relying upon what should be finished. On the other hand it can be moderately modest yet recall that familiar aphorism - you get what you pay for. http://www.mordocrosswords.com/2016/11/zeus-father.html
